Anne Hathaway was the sparkling jewel at the Bulgari Mediterranea High Jewellery event this week. The event, which took place in Venice, Italy, had every celeb bringing their high-fashion A-game, so of course, Anne had to outdo them all.
The Princess Diaries actress, 40, chose a stunning high-slit (and incredibly sheer) ombre gold and silver Versace gown, which showcased her long and strong legs. Plus, the gown had a chic cut-out that showed a peek of her toned core, and a hood that elevated the look.
Here’s a peek at the outfit in case you missed it:
FYI, Anne is a Bulgari ambassador, and she was joined at the event by fellow ambassadors Zendaya and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Talk about a dream team!
If you’re curious to know more about Anne’s health and wellness routines, Women’s Health has you covered. For one, Anne’s legs definitely get an intense workout during her yoga practice. She shared with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that for her role in the series WeCrashed (where she played Rebekah Neumann), she got ‘very into yoga,’ and even thanked her teacher for working with her every day to prep for the role.
Anne really goes all in for her roles. When she prepped for her thriller The Last Thing He Wanted, Anne shared on Instagram that she had gained weight for her role-playing Elena.
When she’s not training for a movie role, Anne gets her body moving outside, going on walks and hikes, which are a great low-impact workout that will get your heart rate up.
Anne’s personal trainer Ramona Braganza actually shared a few insider workout secrets with us, too. According to Braganza, when Anne is prepping for a big event, she’ll do five days of one-hour workouts. ‘We often warmed up by doing sun salutations or a dance warmup,’ Braganza said. The workouts are often HIIT-type sessions, providing toning, lifting, a metabolic boosting effects.
It hasn’t always been easy growing up in the spotlight, though. Anne talked to Allure about Hollywood’s intense body standards. ‘At 16 years old, it was “Congratulations, you have the part. I’m not saying you need to lose weight. I’m just saying don’t gain weight.” Which of course means you need to lose weight,’ she said.
When it comes to her diet, the star shared that for WeCrashed, she fully committed to a raw diet. ‘I don’t really go as immersive as I did before I had kids,’ she told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. ‘Rebekah is a very passionate vegan. I was a raw vegan.’
She’s also cut out alcohol, and shared more about her journey with Tatler, ‘My issue is I just love it. So. Much. But the way I do it makes me unavailable for my son. My last hangover lasted for five days.’
Anne went on to explain, ‘I’d earned it—it was a day drinking session with friends that went into an evening 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day party with one of my drinking buddies,’ adding that she ‘will never be that person who can nurse a glass of wine throughout an entire evening.’
