Elon Musk – Amber Heard’s ex-lover – is said to have helped the star get a role in “Aquaman 2”, even though the director and studio were not satisfied with her.
On October 10, Variety published an article about the behind-the-scenes of Aquaman 2, based on several sources and notes from Heard’s therapist. Accordingly, Heard and Musk both said that the star was almost fired from Aquaman 2 , because director James Wan and the studio were not satisfied with her attitude.
However, a source said that Heard’s ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk , helped her participate in the project. This source confirmed that Musk “sent a letter threatening to burn down the Warner Bros company headquarters.” if Heard is not allowed to participate in the sequel of the work. The studio later kept Heard on.
Musk first met Heard in 2012 while the actor was filming Machete Kills in Los Angeles. The billionaire was chosen as a consultant for the film, but they did not talk. In 2013, Heard visited SpaceX and Musk took her for a ride in a Tesla.
In 2016, the two started getting close at the Met Gala when her marriage with Johnny Depp was on the rocks. A month later, Heard filed for divorce from Depp. When her marriage with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor ended, the star spent more time with the South African billionaire. The two dated from 2017 to February 2018.
In Variety ‘s article , many noisy behind-the-scenes stories were also revealed. In the notes dated December 27, 2021 of Dr. Dawn Hughes, Amber Heard’s therapist, the star said she and co-star Jason Momoa “lacked chemistry”. Heard also claimed that Jason Momoa pushed for her dismissal from the project. The document reads: “Jason wanted me fired. Jason was drunk and arrived late to the set. He dressed like Johnny, even wearing a ring.”
Initially, the documents appeared on the Reddit forum, then gradually created a wave of public opinion when the Aquaman 2 trailer was released in mid-September. Johnny Depp fans paid a fee to make this set of notes public.
Momoa’s representative declined to comment on the incident, while a DC Studios spokesperson said the actor always behaved professionally on the set of Aquaman 2 .
Contrary to Amber Heard’s assertion, a source present at the London filming set in 2021 told Daily Mail that the two had good chemistry when working on the project. “Jason works very hard, occasionally drinks beer but doesn’t appear drunk. And he doesn’t dress like Johnny Depp, it’s a bohemian style,” this person said.

The document also shows Heard criticizing director James Wan. The actress said Wan yelled at her and did not allow her to post on social networks about the work. Wan declined to comment, and a DC Entertainment spokesman denied the allegations, saying the director is famous for treating his crew equally, so this project is no exception.
