Jann Wenner revealed that Angelina Jolie was the one who contacted the press to release photos of her and Brad Pitt having an affair in 2005.

In her memoir Like a Rolling Stone, Jann Wenner – who founded the famous Rolling Stone newspaper and also owns Us Weekly – told secret stories about Angelina Jolie and many other artists. In it, Wenner said: “We have photos and evidence. We have breaking news, which is the debut of the Brangelina couple. The person who revealed the information is Angelina.”

He recounted that in 2005, a newspaper photographer received information that Angelina Jolie was vacationing on the African coast with Brad Pitt – Jennifer Aniston’s husband at the time.

The newspaper’s source not only revealed where the couple was staying, but also detailed the time the couple would go for a walk every day, as well as suggesting a location where they could secretly take photos.

At that time, the couple was rumored to be in a fake relationship after working together in the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, but there was no real evidence.

When the dating photos were released, Brad Pitt had not yet completed the divorce proceedings with Jennifer Aniston.

The news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were dating immediately attracted public attention with mixed comments.
