Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck stayed away from one another at his 12-year-old son Samuel’s graduation Wednesday morning amid speculation that their marriage is over.
Both stars arrived separately at the special event, with Lopez bringing her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme to support their stepbrother and Affleck inviting his mother, Chris Anne Boldt, as a plus one.
The “Jenny from the Block” hitmaker, 54, appeared to be in high spirits as she entered the graduation with a seemingly honest grin across her face.
The singer brought her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme to the special occasion.
She wore a plain beige dress with a scalloped hem and two-toned pumps. She slicked her highlighted hair into a low bun and accessorized with sunglasses.
Affleck, 51, displayed a stern look in photos from the event but was well-dressed in a three-piece blue suit and black dress shoes.
Notably, he wore his wedding band. It’s unclear if the Grammy nominee sported hers, as her left hand was not photographed.
Contrasting her ex-husband, Jennifer Garner, 52, was pictured flashing a wide grin as she stepped out of a vehicle ahead of her youngest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥’s graduation.
She rocked an ankle-length blue summer dress and a brown hat.
She and Affleck also share Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, who attended the graduation.
Lopez and Affleck’s lack of interaction at Samuel’s graduation follows a report that they’ve “been living separate lives.”
“At this point, they are just doing their own thing,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight Monday. “They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven’t.”
Similarly, a source close to the Oscar winner’s camp told Page Six in May that he has “come to his senses” regarding his marriage to the “Marry Me” star.
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” the insider explained. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
The pair tied the knot in July 2022 — 20 years after they were originally engaged.
They are now selling the marital home they purchased in May 2023 as they reportedly work out a separation agreement.
“Ben never liked the house,” a source told People Wednesday. “It’s too far away from his kids.”
