A billboard promoting Hulu’s The Kardashians was the target of a local graffiti tagger in Los Angeles, California.
The billboard was of a promo image featuring Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner to advertise the show’s latest season.
The graffiti artist spray-painted the ad with a vulgar message, which has already been obscured. The image initially had the phrase “New Horizons Await” but the vandal’s message took over the bottom half of the billboard. The graffiti read: “Suck the D— Right!” The billboard promoting season 5 of the show was located on the southwest corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood, which is a highly trafficked area of LA. The location likely influenced how quickly the vandalized billboard was removed. After the graffiti was spotted and reported, it was gone by day’s end.
West Hollywood city workers were reportedly spotted covering up the vandalism on Thursday, June 13, in the afternoon. The billboard is now empty after the image of the famous family was also removed. TMZ reported that there is no word if another poster for The Kardashians will be added to the billboard.
The Kardashians is currently in its fifth season
The reality TV show is already well into its fifth season so chances are that the lack of an ad won’t hurt the show’s viewership numbers. Episode 5 premieres this week, and so far, the previous episodes have already inspired countless headlines about what the famous family has shared on the show.
Everything from the continuation of Khloe and Tristan Thompson’s drama, Scott Disick’s weight loss, Kim managing being a single mom to four kids, Kris’ health concerns, Kourtney’s pregnancy and more, have already helped the Kardashian-Jenners kick the season off on the right foot. The family signed a deal with Hulu after calling E! their home for several years and countless seasons. In April 2022 the first season of their new show premiered on the streaming service.
