During a meeting with Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon on Monday, Mr. Lee discussed expanding cooperation in the field of AI chips. Samsung maintains a long-standing partnership and uses Qualcomm’s advanced Snapdragon chips in its most popular smartphones.

On Tuesday, Mr. Lee met with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, even visiting Zuckerberg’s home in Palo Alto, California. Samsung said the two discussed the possibility of collaborating between their companies in areas including AI, augmented reality and virtual reality.

In Seattle on Wednesday, Mr. Lee visited Amazon’s headquarters and shared Samsung’s outlook on AI and cloud computing with Andy Jassy, ​​Amazon’s chairman and chief executive officer.

During his trip to the US, he also met with other global companies to strengthen relationships and promote Samsung’s chip manufacturing business, as well as with lawmakers and government officials.

Samsung Electronics said it will hold a global strategy meeting with key executives and overseas headquarters directors to lay out detailed business plans and vision later this month.

“In addition to the proven GAA process optimized for AI chips, we plan to introduce common packaged, integrated optical technology for high-speed data processing, low power consumption, providing providing customers with the comprehensive AI solutions they need to thrive during this transformation,” GAA said, referring to Samsung’s full-gate transistor architecture.

Working across all areas of chip manufacturing, Samsung also introduced Samsung AI Solutions, a turnkey AI platform that is the result of collaborative efforts between chip, memory and the company’s advanced chip packaging.

Samsung said the collaboration between the companies can streamline supply chain management and reduce time-to-market, resulting in a significant 20% improvement in total processing time.

By 2027, the company will introduce an all-in-one CPO integrated AI solution to provide customers with “one-stop” AI solutions.

At the event, Arm CEO Rene Haas and Groq CEO Jonathan Ross also took the stage to talk about Arm’s strong partnership with Samsung in solving new AI challenges. Approximately 30 partner companies displayed their work in the booths, further highlighting dynamic collaboration across the US foundry ecosystem.
