Tiny Mountain Houses of Salem, Ore. now has an arm in the tropics. The tiny house designer and builder’s new partner, Tiny Pacific Houses offers 25 different tiny house models for residents of the Hawaiian Islands. The homes are sold by Hawaiian native Brandon Hardin, but built on the mainland by Pacific Tiny Houses by builders experienced with modular and factory construction. The sales office is located in Honolulu, Oahu.

Each of the tiny houses are RV classified and come in various lengths and floor plans. The models that are making waves are the 28 foot Mauna Kea and the 24 foot Ko’olau. Each of these contemporary style homes have a side entry, spacious living rooms and dens, bathrooms and sleeping lofts. The Mauna Kea has a double sleeping loft and stairs. The least expensive model is also affordable at just under $45,000. The other models range in price from $53,900 to $72,900. Shipping to the islands is not included in the price, but on these idyllic island, you don’t have to have heating or AC.

Other options include the traditional Makawao with cedar porch and optional staircase and the compact 210 square foot Kamakou which would be perfect for the traveling surfer. Each model has high quality standard features, appliances and finishes. Upgrades to flooring, cabinets, countertops and exterior finishes are also available.
