The Evening Standard, a reliable source, reports that Chelsea are preparing to part ways with as many as seven players.

The names are Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen, Romelu Lukaku, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Hakim Ziyech and Malang Sarr.

CHO, Ziyech and Lukaku have been transfer-listed all summer and it’s about finalising their exits for them.

Sarr is a player who everyone seems to have forgotten about. Upon returning from an unsuccessful Monaco loan, the Frenchman was deemed surplus to requirements.

Gallagher impressed Chelsea fans with his performance against Liverpool while Maatsen showed a lot of promise during the pre-season tour, with rumours that Chelsea would give him a new contract.

Chalobah is an interesting case. The Blues academy graduate is clearly a quality player but the club keeps buying more and more defenders instead of putting their trust in Trev.
