‘Brilliant’… John Terry and Conor Gallagher super impressed by what 22-year-old Chelsea player’s just done

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson received some big praise after what he’s just done in the London derby success against Tottenham.

Nicolas Jackson, 22, took home the match ball after scoring his first Chelsea hat-trick in a 4-1 away win at Spurs in the Premier League.

It’s certainly got to be right up there for game of the season so far after an action-packed event in North London.

The Blues took three league points after coming from behind to score four unanswered goals. However, Spurs had two red cards against them and some key injuries.

Nicolas Jackson with a smile on his face

The game was evenly poised at 1-1 for a large spell as Chelsea struggled to score against nine-man Spurs, but the floodgates opened late on to secure the deserved win.

Jackson scored a quick-fire hat-trick in the closing stages, his first a simple finish in the 75th minute. The 22-year-old striker then added two more in stoppage time to add gloss to the scoreline.

It’s worth mentioning he also had a goal disallowed and missed a golden headed opportunity.

Chelsea uploaded a post on Instagram last night celebrating Jackson’s goals, which received responses from both John Terry and Conor Gallagher. They were both super impressed!

Blues striker to ignite now

We hope to see a confident and dangerous Jackson pose Manchester City some problems this Sunday in the next game.

He’s certainly come in for criticism during his debut campaign in English football, but all of a sudden five goals in 10 league matches doesn’t look so bad. He’s scored once in the Carabao Cup this year, too.

Cole Palmer said Jackson was “brilliant” versus Spurs, as quoted by Sky Sports. The striker definitely feels like a confidence player that can kick on after his latest performance.

We know for sure he’ll need to be a lot more clinical when Man City come to Stamford Bridge at the weekend!

He’s got so many great attributes to keep getting in the right positions, so it’s just about everything fall into place for him at the same time.
