Bronze and Patrick wore gray sweatpants while the family went to a high school football game in the area. At a location he is most familiar with, Patrick Mahomes spent some quality time with his son.

The 29-year-old quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs was spotted watching a game with his 22-month-old son, Bronze, in the bleachers at a nearby high school football stadium in a recent picture posted by Brittany Mahomes on Friday, October 18.

Patrick wore sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt for the evening out, while his youngest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 sported a crewneck and sweatpants set that included pictures of sports gear like hockey pucks and basketballs.

His parents accessorized the ensemble with a pair of infant-sized Air Jordan 1 sneakers in black and white.

Brittany, 29, wrote, “Friday night lights 🤍,” as the caption for the photo. On his personal Instagram Stories, Patrick reposted the picture as well.

The Daily Mail claims that the entire Mahomes family, including their 3-year-old daughter Sterling, attended the Blue Valley West High School game. As they observed the sons of other Chiefs coaches in action, the site also stated that defensive tackle Chris Jones and Chiefs coach Andy Reid joined them.

KSHB reporter Matt Foster posted a video of Mahomes and his family on X (previously Twitter) with the caption, “Imagine being a high school football player & seeing Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Andy Reid & other #Chiefs players sitting on the sideline at your game.”

Before the NFL star and the Chiefs play the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco this weekend, Patrick and Brittany went on their most recent outing with their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

Even though the Chiefs have five wins going into their next game and are currently unbeaten for the season, Patrick has made time for his loved ones despite his winning run.

During a Chiefs bye week, he and Brittany spent a day at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas on October 10 with Bronze and Sterling.

According to Brittany’s Instagram Stories at the time, the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s zoo excursion included them feeding giraffes, observing flamingos, and examining a “beautiful lion,” with whom Patrick and Bronze had a hilarious stare-down.

Even while Patrick is playing away from home during the NFL season, the couple, who are currently expecting their third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together, stay in touch.

The quarterback talked to PEOPLE back in September about how he stays in touch with his family when playing against teams outside of Kansas City.

He explained that he uses FaceTime calls to accomplish this. He remarked, “When I’m on the road, it makes the distance feel a little smaller.”

On Sunday, October 20, the Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. The following week, Patrick and his teammates will travel to Las Vegas to play the Raiders.
