While the details about Priyanka and Nick’s wedding have been kept under the wraps, we know that the lovebirds will be exchanging the nuptial vows at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. According to a DNA report, the Chopra-Jonas families have booked the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace for the wedding from November 29, 2018, to December 3, 2018. As per a source, “The couple has booked the fort from November 29 to December 1. It will be closed for tourists on these three days.”

When the aforementioned media portal called the Palace and inquired for the reservations, the hotel personnel at the reservation counter said, “None of the rooms are available on these dates. We have rooms till November 28 and again starting from December 4. We are completely booked for the five days in between.” Do you know how much Priyanka and Nick are shelling out for their wedding festivities?

The grand yellow sandstone property, Umaid Bhawan Palace has 64 luxurious rooms and suites i.e. 22 palace rooms and 42 suites which are further segregated into four types – 24 historical suites, 10 royal suites, 6 grand royal suites and 2 presidential suites. The per night prices (exclusive of taxes) for each room is Rs 47,300 for palace rooms, Rs 65,300 for historical suites, Rs 1.45 lakh for royal suites, Rs 2.30 lakh for grand royal suites and Rs 5.04 lakh for presidential suites.

So, the total cost to book the entire hotel sums up to approximately Rs 64.40 lakh per night. And since the hotel has been booked for a total of five days by Priyanka and Nick, so just the accommodation will reportedly cost around Rs 3.2 crore. This cost excludes expenses like food and expenditure for different ceremonies.
