LeBron James celebrates as son Bronny signs his Letter of Intent to study & play basketball at USC saying he shed tears as he put pen to paper

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James took some time away from preparing for the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets to celebrate his son Bronny.

Posting to Instagram, LeBron showed images of Bronny signing his National Letter of Intent to attend and play basketball at the University of Southern California (USC).

Sitting in front of a banner displaying the logos of Sierra Canyon High School and wearing a USC Trojans t-shirt, Bronny smiled as he put pen to paper.

LeBron, the proud dad happily snapped pics of Bronny, his wife Savannah, and his other son Bryce.

He captioned the picture, ‘My boy signed his letter of intent yesterday for @uschoops! So damn happy and proud of you @bronny! Pops shed a gangsta [crying emoji] seeing this. So AMAZING #ProudDad #BronnyGoingToCollege #JamesGang #FightOn.’

Bronny will be playing his basketball at the Galen Center, just a few exits south via I-110 from the Crypto.com Arena where the Lakers play.

The younger James was listed on 24/7sports.com as a five-star recruit, the fourth best prospect in California, the fifth best combo guard, and the 21st best prospect in the country.

Bronny received scholarship offers from USC, Memphis, and Ohio State while drawing interest from Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Oregon.

LeBron has previously said that before he retires, he’d like to play on the same team as his sons. Bryce is currently not rated and is part of the Class of 2025.
