Legendary golfer Tiger Woods recently appeared on the ‘Fore Play’ podcast’s YouTube video where he caddied for the group members.

Woods gave a piece of important yet simple advice to the golf influencers on how to improve their swings. According to the 49-year-old, the key to hitting a good swing is commitment.

“Whatever you do. Just commit to it. A hook, slice, straight, high, low…who cares? Just settle down and committ to what you are doing. Just stay here,” he mentioned.

In the short snippet posted by TaylorMade on X, Tiger Woods can be seen assessing the content creators’ swings. He commended their “beautiful” shots. As Sam ‘Riggs’ Bozoian hit his ball, he turned back to look at Woods expectantly. The latter appreciated the shot saying:

“There you go, see? Keep it simple. Most important thing that you do is commit to what you are doing. That’s it.”

‘Fore Play’ podcast released their latest video with Tiger Woods on their YouTube channel last week. The video has already garnered 448,585 views (at the time of writing).

According to Tiger Woods, “practice swings don’t really necessarily mirror” what one would do at the actual event

Tiger Woods dropped several valuable insights during his appearance on ‘Fore Play’ podcast’s YouTube video last week. As he caddied for the influencers, he was asked whether it was possible to detect a bad grip during a practice round.

According to Woods, practice rounds aren’t particularly the best samples of what one does in tournaments.

“Well I-I would like to see..like your practice swings don’t really necessarily mirror what you’re doing in a real golf swing…So if I happen to see you hit a range of balls, yes I get an understanding of what you..you’re going to do but if I just happen to see you cold like that,” Woods said [10:59 onwards].

He further added:

“Then I really can’t give you that much information cause I haven’t really seen you do it and your rehearsals aren’t the same as your real swing.”

Woods hasn’t been the most active golfer in competitions post his freak 2021 car accident. However, he can be seen in action at his and Rory McIlroy’s tech-forward TGL at the SoFi center in Palm Gardens.

His team Jupiter Links Golf Club’s next match is scheduled on January 27th against McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf. Jupiter Links have already lost one fixture against the Los Angeles Golf Club. The ace golfer also took part in the PNC Championship with son, Charlie, in December. The father-son duo placed second to Bernhard Langer and his son, Jason.
