Keanu Reeves has been a part of the entertainment industry for a very long time now. The actor first bagged major roles in the 1980s. Reeves has portrayed a wide range of characters throughout his career including John Wick. The first movie in the series, John Wick, was released in 2014 and today, it has managed to become one of the biggest franchises in the world.
All the John Wick movies contained action-packed sequences that kept the viewers on their toes, however, creating those scenes was quite challenging. Reeves once listed out some of the scenes in the movies that he hated.

Actor Keanu Reeves, best known for his work in the John Wick franchise, once talked about the most challenging scenes in the franchise. He told Collider,
“Let’s see, the first one that comes to mind was the horse sequence in Chapter 3. I would say, just as the first time, the assault sequence in Chapter 1. I would say the dance party fight in Chapter 2. And I would say probably it’s a tie between the Arc de Triomphe car sequence and the stair sequence in Sacré-Cœur.”
Keanu Reeves has filmed a lot of action movies in the past like Speed (1994), Chain Reaction (1996), and The Matrix franchise.

The first John Wick movie influenced the action genre. It inspired other films and TV shows to incorporate its signature style. The combination of kung-fu and guns, known as “Gun-Fu” was popularized by this movie.
A spin-off is in the works
John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)
The last movie in the main John Wick series, John Wick: Chapter 4, was released in March 2023. Now, it has been announced that a spin-off movie called Ballerina is in the works. The movie, starring Ana de Armas, is all set to release in June 2024.
John Wick has developed a dedicated fan base since the release of the first film. The franchise has achieved considerable commercial success, with each film outperforming its predecessor at the box office. All the movies have grossed over $1 billion at the global box office.
