Keanu Reeves has become the new and most popular name for the deadly assassin movie star. In the John Wick franchise, he plays the role of an extremely talented and well-trained assassin, who is on his vengeance tour and in no mood to spare anyone. The movie promises some gut-wrenching moments, however, sometimes deadly stunts get out of line leading to huge injuries.

The actor shared in an interview with Comicbook that he was doing a stunt and accidentally cut open a man’s head. He said,

“Well I mean everyone is pretty tired – but it’s the best kind of tired. It’s like you climbed a mountain now you’re resting; like you finished the game and you won. So in terms of accidents: I made a mistake once – I cut a gentleman’s head open. So that really f*cking s*cked (excuse my language). But other than that – oh, one guy got hit by a car. He was in the car, so he had to go to the hospital, but he was OK.”

There were no fatal injuries while performing stunts on the sets of John Wick 4.

Speed star shared in the interview that making a high-end action film involves some bodily injuries. He added that the action and stunts teams of the film are very caring for one another.

Reeves shared,

“All of this to say: that you do have to take care. But it’s great that everyone [on set] is watching out for each other. So there’s some bruising and aches and pains, but [imitates official PSA announcement] ‘No humans were harmed in the filming of this motion picture!’”

John Wick: Chapter 4 is a neo-noir action thriller film, directed and co-produced by Chad Stahelski. It is written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. It is a sequel to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and the fourth installment of the John Wick franchise. In the film, John Wick seeks revenge from the High Table and those who wanted to see him dead.

John Wick: Chapter 4 was released on 24 March 2023 and did extremely well at the box office. The movie grossed $432.4 million worldwide.
