Kylian Mbappe, the main sponsor of “Premiers de cordée” – a charity for disabled and terminally ill 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, appeared on the Stade de France during an exchange on April 12.
“We want to bring a smile to all the babies who need it,” Mbappe said comfortably at the press conference next to his younger brother Ethan (16 years old). Both participated in a 45-minute match against disabled 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren being treated for serious diseases in hospitals in Paris.

During the past 6 years, Mbappe has spent a part of his income and efforts to cultivate “Premiers de cordée”. During the press conference on April 12, 3,500 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren – who mainly have autism, gathered at the Stade de France to exchange and take pictures with the Mbappe brothers, along with some big names in the world. French sports villages such as Thierry Omeyer, Priscilla Gneto or Émilie Gomis.
Mbappe has never hidden his desire to become an inspiration for 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren around the world to live their dreams, always reaching forward, overcoming adversity. Therefore, the 24-year-old striker regularly participates enthusiastically in the activities of “Premiers de cordée” – the organization of which he has been the leading sponsor since 2017 until now.

“For me this is nothing, it just represents an afternoon. But for the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, it is the memory of the whole 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood, the whole life. It’s nice to see the admiration they have for me. They didn’t dare think that I could be here to play, laugh, and comfort them. They only see me on television. I’m really happy, very happy to be able to give them something special,” Mbappe shared when he saw 9-year-old Samir sobbing because he could touch his idol.

When asked about the values that “Premiers de cordée” bring, Mbappe only emphasized the importance of sport in society. “Sport brings people together, all cultures, all genders. We are not here as a player. It is not difficult to play for PSG or be the captain of the French national team. Work hard and strive, dreams will come true,” Mbappe added.
