Fifty is a pit bull that has a mission to assist people. He comes from a mother who was saved by a caring family while she was pregnant. Later, the family decided to adopt Fifty out of all his siblings. Currently, this energetic dog lives joyfully with his owners and his sibling, Izzy. It’s amazing to see how much he has progressed in life.
While on patrol, a police officer came across Fifty and, unfortunately, reacted with fear and shot him in both of his right limbs. This incident highlights the unfortunate prevalence of pit bull prejudice as Fifty was a sweet and loving dog. Sadly, due to the bullet wounds, both of Fifty’s right legs had to be amputated.
As Fifty struggled to find stability on his two remaining paws, his life took another unexpected turn. His humans, Izzy and Fifty, were hit hard by the economic crisis and had no choice but to surrender them to a shelter. This left Fifty feeling lost and alone once again, with his only source of security suddenly gone. But despite the hardship, Fifty discovered a newfound sense of purpose. He refused to let his circumstances dictate his fate and instead made a commitment to rise above it all.
In the beginning, he propped himself against the walls for support, but eventually, he kept slipping back. However, with his determination and hard work, he was able to regain his walking and running abilities. His efforts paid off when he finally found a forever home after being in rehabilitation at the shelter for nine months.
From the moment he met his new family members, including his siblings, Fifty knew he had found his forever home. He made a promise to himself to be a role model canine every day and adapted easily to his exciting new life full of affection and adventure. His owners are dedicated to helping other dogs in distress, and Fifty has eagerly embraced his role as a foster brother, always ready to provide comfort and support to his furry friends in need.
Fifty is an incredible individual who managed to overcome his illness and surpass various challenges that life threw his way. It’s time we acknowledge and celebrate this unique being, and prove that pit bulls are more than just a “vicious breed.” Do your part by sharing this article with someone in your circle.
