LeBron James will participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics, according to Paul Pierce

Former NBA star Paul Pierce believes LeBron James’ career in Team USA is not over just yet.

Even though James will be 39 next summer, Pierce says the Los Angeles Lakers star will suit up for his country.

“I really think LeBron is going to go,” Pierce said on the Ticket & The Truth podcast. “I think LeBron will be there in the Olympics. This will be his final Olympics. I think Steph [Curry] will be there. I think he’ll go to the Olympics. I think he do got to go.”

The last time James played for Team USA was in the 2012 London Olympics. He represented Team USA in 3 Olympics (2004, 2008, and 2012), one World Cup (2006), and one FIBA Americas Championship (2007).

James has career averages of 13.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 17.2 EFF in 43 appearances for Team USA in FIBA competitions.

In the 2022-23 campaign, James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game in 55 contests for the Lakers.
