Shohei Ohtani Rumors: Insider Predicts Dodgers Sign Superstar to Massive 10-Year Deal

Insider predicts Ohtani to sign a massive deal with the Dodgers this offseason.

With the most anticipated free agent and most unusual free agent available this offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers just might get their wish for this upcoming holiday season.

Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report expects the two-way star to sign a 10-year deal worth up to $520 million with LA.

Ohtani, the reigning 2023 AL MVP and former 2021 AL MVP with the Los Angeles Angels, has had the Dodgers infatuated with the possibility of playing there since he announced he would be taking his talents from the Japanese baseball league to the MLB in 2018.

Before signing with the Angels, the Dodgers were among the seven final teams that were on his list of potential suitors.

Unfortunately for Dodgers fans, he in fact chose to sign 30 miles south of Chavez Ravine to join Mike Trout and the Angels.

After failing to reach the postseason in his six-year career, Ohtani is now a free agent again and has a list of potential suitors waiting for him once again as almost every team in professional baseball seems to be in on the two-way star.

Ohtani is coming off arguably his best year yet as a hitter as he was the MLB home run leader with 44 to his name.

No one knows what Ohtani’s contract could look like, but the Dodgers would be more than fine giving him 10 years and $520 million to make him a Dodger for the rest of his career.
