There was no mistaking Emily Blunt’s pregnancy glow as she stepped out in New York on Tuesday night. The actress showed off her 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 bump while supporting her husband John Krasinski at the opening night of his new play Dry Powder at The Public Theatre.

Wearing a grey fitted ribbed dress and black cape, Emily looked effortlessly chic as she cosied up to her husband at the theatre. The couple only had eyes for each other and shared a loving gaze in front of the photographers, appearing happier than ever as they prepare to welcome their second 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together.

Emily and John confirmed that they were expecting 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 number two in January, with the new addition to their family due to arrive in the summer. The couple are already parents to daughter Hazel, two, and have made no secret of how happy becoming parents has made them.

The Girl on the Train actress has called motherhood the “best thing ever”. After welcoming her daughter in 2014, she said: “You don’t know what to expect because it’s just completely existentially out of anything that you’ve ever experience before, and it’s quite indescribable.”

Meanwhile The Office US star John opened up about how becoming a father had changed him, telling People magazine: “There is a mirror that is held up to me now. You have someone watching you. You have to lead by example.”

John said he is focusing on “becoming a better person every single day”, and that being a father has now helped him to better understand his own parents. He explained: “I got to understand my parents better. I got to understand my wife better. I got to understand how lucky I am to be in the foxhole with someone I can rely on 150 per cent.”
