One of the funniest Chase Freedom Unlimited advertisements of the year was co-created by Kevin Hart and Steph Curry. Starring two of the top personalities in basketball and entertainment, the commercial’s premise is that Kevin Hart used his Chase Freedom card to purchase the Gold State Warriors.
Stephen Curry on X: “#PartnerInChallenge” I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder on a comedy set than when I was alongside my brother, @KevinHart4real. Thank you for bringing us together, @Chase Freedom!”Add a heart.
At the beginning of the hilarious commercial, Hart entered the Chase Center, the team’s home arena, where Curry was rehearsing a few shots. He gives everyone commands like a new owner would, informing them that the stadium seats “have gotta go.” Curry halted his work when he noticed Hart acting strangely and questioned his new superiors, “What kind of plan is that?” After making some incredibly poor shots, Hart yells, “I bought the team!” and storms out.
Many people have referred to the advertisement as a work of art after it received a lot of attention online.
Still, the errors could be funnier than the advertisement itself. Curry posted some amusing videos of the takes from the commercial on Instagram. The two celebrities could be seen cracking jokes off-camera in numerous recordings.
