It will take place on August 28 on the eve of the Tour Championship which is happening at the same golf club in Atlanta, Georgia.

American Paige, 31, turned professional in 2015 and spent the 2016 season on the PGA Tour.

She won one tour event but earned just $8,010 (ÂĢ6,000) in winnings across the season, leading her to leave pro golf to become an influencer in the sport.

Now she has confirmed she is returning for the first time since she was on the pro tour.

Speaking on X, she said: “It’s the week of The Creator Classic!

“Although nervous to play competitive stroke play again (it’s been 8 years) I’m excited for this amazing opportunity!

“The goal is to have fun 😌.”

Paige has built up a huge following on social media in recent years.
