WWE legend Hulk Hogan fears Jake Paul could ‘KILL’ Mike Tyson in controversial bout as details of Iron Mike’s medical assessment are revealed

Hulk Hogan has expressed serious concerns about Mike Tyson‘s upcoming fight against Jake Paul, claiming the YouTuber-turned-boxer could ‘𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁’ Iron Mike during their November bout.

Hogan, a close friend of Tyson and a legendary figure in professional wrestling, is worried that the significant age difference between the 58-year-old and the 27-year-old, combined with Tyson’s recent health issues, could make the bout dangerous for the boxing icon.

Hogan voiced these concerns during a recent podcast appearance, referring to Paul as ‘too strong’ and ‘scary, before stating the YouTuber-turned-boxer could ‘𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁’ Tyson in the ring.

Hogan’s comments come after initial concerns over Tyson’s health given the bout was initially scheduled to take place in July but was postponed after Iron Mike  suffered a medical scare in May.

The 58-year-old became nauseous and dizzy on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, forcing the cabin crew to ask passengers if there was a doctor on board to provide assistance.

However, Iron Mike remains steadfast that he is more than able to compete against Paul and insists there is nothing to worry about in terms of his health heading into the bout.

Nevertheless, Hogan said while speaking on Logan Paul’s Impulsive podcast: ‘Your brother [Jake Paul] is too strong.’ He went on to add: ‘Last night [at the Mike Perry fight] as soon as I saw him set the guy up with the left to throw the overhand right? I went ‘oh my God’… I mean really, It was scary. I love Mike to death, I don’t want him to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Mike, Jesus.’

The wrestling icon continued: ‘Mike is a snake, he will come out at you, but if you attack him you can suffocate him.’

Reports earlier this week stated that Tyson would only be assessed the day before his fight with Paul despite ongoing concerns over the 58-year-old’s health.

The fight between Tyson and Paul was due to take place in July, but just two months after the bout was announced, the two men were forced to postpone proceedings.

Mike’ suffered a medical scare in May which derailed the showdown in Texas. However, a new date of November 15 was later agreed.

But, fans remained concerned about Tyson’s health given he will be 58 when the fight takes place at the AT&T Stadium – the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

They were hoping the Texas Licensing Regulators would monitor Tyson closely before the bout takes place later this year.

However, according to World Boxing News, the Texas Licensing Regulators will not only assess Tyson until the day before the fight.

Tyson is confident the bout will go ahead as planned and insists he is ready to dismantle Paul despite suffering a medical emergency during a flight from Miami to LA earlier this year

Therefore, there is a high risk that the bout could be cancelled just 24 hours before Iron Mike is set to step back into the ring.

The result of the assessment could see the fight be downgraded from a professional one to an exhibition or even cancelled.

However, Tyson is confident the bout will go ahead as planned and insists he is ready to dismantle Paul despite suffering a medical emergency during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles earlier this year.

Tyson became nauseous and dizzy, forcing flight staff to ask passengers if there was a doctor on board to provide assistance.

Paramedics boarded the plane, which had already been delayed by two hours in Miami because of the heat, once it touched down in Los Angeles to give treatment.

The incident came just two months before the boxing legend was initially due to fight the YouTuber-turned-boxer in Arlington.

Fans have raved about Tyson’s physique and punching power during recent training videos

‘Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,’ his representatives told The New York Post shortly after the incident took place.

‘He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.’
