Simpson, 51, who lives in the suburbs of San Antonio, went to a party with her husband, Brad Simpson, 53, on October 6 and hasn’t been seen since they returned home.

Neighbors reportedly heard screams following an alleged altercation.

The search for the missing realtor has now entered a second week.

Simpson’s mother, Barbara, has opened up on the final conversations she had with her daughter.

Simpson asked her mom to look after one of her kids before heading to the event at The Argyle, a members-only dinner club in San Antonio, per NBC affiliate WOAI-TV.

But Simpson changed her mind before calling her mom for a second time.

“When she got back, she called me up and told me the things that Brad had done to her physically,” Clark claimed.

Clark claimed she was going to ask Simpson to move in with her.

She also said she would tell her to move her toddler into one of the local schools where she lived.

“I never got to tell her the plan,” Clark said.

Clark revealed she has questions for her son-in-law Brad, but she fears for her daughter’s life, the ABC affiliate KSAT-TV reported.

When a reporter asked if she believed Simpson was still alive, Clark said, “I don’t think she is because I’ve not heard from her.”

Suzanne’s brother-in-law, Barton Tinsley Simpson, said those searching for the missing parent will not stop until she’s found.

He thanked state police and local cops for their “tireless” efforts, per a Facebook post.

Simpson was reportedly involved in an altercation with her husband, to whom she’d been married for 22 years, after returning from the party.

A photo has since emerged showing a woman, believed to be Simpson, wearing a black outfit outside The Argyle.

Cops believed Simpson was in distress on that night she was pictured outside the venue.

“She may be somewhere, and we just don’t know about it,” Fidel Villegas, the Olmos Park Police chief, said.

A neighbor told police that Brad was trying to stop Suzanne from running away, according to an arrest affidavit seen by KSAT-TV.

Around an hour later, the neighbor said, Brad reportedly left in a 2019 GMC black pickup truck.

He returned to the home around two hours later.

Police have since asked for tips about the truck’s locations.

Simpson was reported missing on the evening of Monday, October 7.

Brad received a call from their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥’s school to say their daughter hadn’t been picked up.

It’s since emerged that Brad did not go to the family’s home, according to police.

He went to another family property located in Bandera County.

The next day, the couple’s daughter reportedly told police her parents had been fighting.

She said Suzanne had a bruise on her elbow and claimed her mom’s cell phone had been taken.

The realtor’s other daughter, Chandler, urged her mom to call her in an Instagram post on October 8.

Then, she begged her to return home in a subsequent post.

On Wednesday, Brad was arrested and booked into jail on charges of family violence and unlawful restraint.

He has not been charged in connection with Suzanne’s disappearance.

Cops have confirmed he’s being held on a $2 million bond.

Brad is currently housed at the Bexar County jail, but cops confirmed to local media that it’s possible he may be moved into federal custody.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials confirmed no large-scale searches were planned for the weekend.

Police have confirmed that members of the Simpson family have been quizzed in line with the probe.
