Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is very particular about his name and will let everyone know about it, no matter if you’re NBA supertar LeBron James.

During the most recent episode of the highly popular podcast “New Heights” hosted by brothers Jason and Travis, Freeman talked about an embarrassing moment that James had when the basketball stud praised him on X for the way he played during the World Series 2024, where the Dodgers beat the New York Yankees in 5 games and Freeman won the MVP.

“I heard and he spelled my name wrong, he spelled it with a Y” said the baseball players, which made the Kelce brothers laugh.

“I’m very particular about my name, spell it right, you know? And I heard he corrected it, he put the I-E on it.” continued Freeman.

The Dodgers player said that a lot of people corrected James’ post and he admitted that he’s very particular about his name, to which Travis Kelce told him that he should care about it.

As the conversation went on, Freeman praised LeBron and said that the Lakers forward is the greatest basketball player of all time. “It’s pretty cool, I guess it just means you’ve done something really good, you know.” said the baseball stud.

LeBron James apologized to Freeman on Instagram with a post where he wrote “FREEDIE!!! My bad man! You was the boogie man out there so I just thought like Mr. Kruger!

Freddie Freeman’s unbelievable season

Freddie Freeman’s season was a real rollercoaster of ups and downs, but it could not have had a better conclusion by winning the World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, also becoming the Most Valuable Player of the Fall Classic.

Freeman, who hit a grand slam in Game 1 that left the New York Yankees on the field during the 10th inning, had a year of enormous challenges both on and off the diamond.

One of her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, Maximus, three years old, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, which caused the little boy to experience a total body paralysis one day, leading him to remain in intensive care in a hospital, changing the life of the whole family from one day to the next.

Maximus received the appropriate treatment and has shown remarkable improvements, to the extent that the family has resumed its lifestyle, including his wife Chelsea and eldest son Charlie, who predicted his father’s fate during the World Series.
