Elon Musk appears to be turning into President-Elect Donald Trump’s right-hand man. And Barron Trump may not approve.
The tech billionaire has been chosen to co-chair the Department of Government Efficiency with Vivek Ramaswamy on Trump’s cabinet. With Musk campaigning with Trump this past year, the two have been closer than ever since his presidential win.
While Trump seems to love Musk, not everyone shares that adoration. In fact, the future president’s 18-year-old son Barron recently revealed his disapproval for the goofy shenanigans of the Tesla CEO.

Judi James, a body language expert, analyzed the dynamic between Trump and Musk, along with the rest of the Trump family. She said the relationship between them and Barron and Melania is “hilarious here in terms of collusion, status and even rejection signals.”
She told the Irish Star: “Trump sits in the middle between his youngest son and his adult ‘bestie’ and initially his pose is a very responsible self-diminished one where he seems to pull his arms into the sides of his body to avoid giving either Musk or Barron signals of priority attention.
“This makes it look as though he is bringing Musk closer into his family group and maybe strengthening bonds between them but then it all begins to go into non-verbal meltdown.”
As the future president begins to dance to the YMCA, he pats Musk on the shoulder, letting him know it’s okay to join in the fun. When he tries to do the same to Barron, he’s met with an icy stare.
“Elon complies with enthusiasm but then Trump turns to Barron and is met with a poker-faced elegance as though he is the adult in the room rather than his father.”
James continued: “Elon and Donald look busted by this non-compliant look of silent disapproval, although Melania seems to be smiling widely to suggest a sense of fun.”
After the embarrassing look, they try to salvage their superiority by taming down their dance moves.
“Musk’s next move seems to be to try to re-boot his status and his authority. While Trump performs his ‘towel-drying’ dance move we can see Musk performing a steepling gesture with his hands, a move that is normally used to create an impression of seniority,” James said.
