Jake Paul ‘drags’ LeBron James and Shohei Ohtani into his financial dispute

Jake wants to make it clear that in business terms he is number one, he became the boxer with the most important fight in the current history of boxing. According to Netflix, about 108 million people watched the fight live, which made it a historic event.

The content creator and boxer is still giving people something to talk about.

That was not enough for the boxer, as he has insisted on a fight against Canelo. Unfortunately for him, the Mexican has publicly rejected him and discredited his fights, so it looks complicated for the future.

At the recent MVP Prospects 10 event, Paul and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian responded to Canelo and placed Paul above LeBron James and Shohei Ohtani.

Jake Paul is on another level

At the press conference, a FightHype reporter questioned Paul about how Canelo was downplaying everything he has achieved. Paul responded that discrediting others is typical of his sport, and that this is how fights are marketed. “I mean, that’s the environment we’re in. It’s like everyone’s trying to talk s***,” expressed Jake.

The 27-year-old boxer understands that everyone is trying to “show their power so that El Gallo can keep his place”, and that no one can replace him. However, in a surprising decision, Paul chose to do the right thing, saying he does not “just want to generate an exchange of nonsense”.

Above Ohtani and LeBron James?

Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of MVP, who was sitting next to the 11-1 boxer, took the microphone to further support her partner. During her speech, the duo somehow managed to involve figures such as LeBron James and Shohei Ohtani to highlight Paul’s dominance in boxing.

Jake Paul interrupted to point out Shohei Ohtani, the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, who signed the largest contract in MLB history for $700 million. However, before joining the DodgersOhtani did not earn as much as Jake Paul for a single fight.

Bidarian claimed that no one, not even LeBron James, has had as much impact on their sport as Jake Paul has had on boxing. He also dismissed Canelo Alvarez, saying that the Mexican could only dream of earning those figures when he was new to the sport. “In his third fight, nothing comes close to what Paul has achieved,” commented the co-founder of MVP.
