Myla resembles her mixed-race father, Kyle Armstrong, while Anaya resembles her mother, Hannah Yaeker.
Hannah Yarker and Kyle Armstrong are pictured with their twins, Myla and Anaya.
Anaya and Myla attract attention wherever they go, and not just because they are adorable.
The seven-month-old twin sisters generate a great deal of attention due to the fact that they are not identical.
While Myla’s dark complexion is inherited from their father of mixed race, Kyle Armstrong, Anaya has her mother Hannah Yarker’s white complexion, blonde hair, and pale eyes.
Hannah, 20, a proud mother, told the Mirror: “Everyone comments on them. People frequently ask, “Are they both yours?, ‘Are they sisters?,’ and ‘Are they related?'”
Because they are not identical twins, they developed in separate sacs, with Myla inheriting more of their father’s DNA than Anaya’s.
Hannah from Baguley, Wythenshawe, claims she joked during her pregnancy about the possibility of having twins with distinct skin tones.
She stated, “My family asked when I became pregnant due to the mixed race of my companion. That was the jest the entire time: “imagine if we had one of each.”
“When we acquired them, my partner turned to me and said, ‘Yes, we have one of each.'”
Hannah, a receptionist at a doctor’s office, was forced to take maternity leave early because she could no longer fit behind the desk.
“They were also healthy weights for twins, as below the five-pound mark is considered normal, but Anaya weighed 5.9 and Myla was 6.5 pounds.
“Twins typically weigh less because they have less space, but these two stretched me out so they had plenty of room.
They were 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 two minutes apart, and I stayed in the hospital for only a day and a half before being discharged.
In addition to their distinct appearances, the sisters are already developing their own personalities.
Hannah continued, “We can’t believe they’re twins; they share the same 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day, parents, and are polar opposites in every aspect.
“Myla is constantly moving; she is already crawling backwards, whereas Anaya is so relaxed that she cannot even sit up; she simply lies there.”
Hannah is apprehensive about the girls starting school, despite the fact that her family and acquaintances adore them despite their differences.
Hannah stated, “I believe it will be quite challenging to explain to them when they are older.”
“My friends have 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren in school, and the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren can be quite cruel; they want to know why you appear different if you have the same parents.
“They will need to explain that they share the same 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day and have the same parents, but that they appear different.
I assume we’ll just take whatever comes our way
