Lakers star LeBron James wrote a heartfelt letter to his mother, who raised him in spite of all the odds.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James came from the small town of Akron, Ohio. And he was the only son of Gloria Marie James, who worked hard to provide him with a stable environment and bought him up against all odds. James credits his mother for his huge success and for being a role model. And he recently sent an emotional message to his 54-year-old mother.

LeBron James was š›šØš«š§ in 1984 when his mother was only 16 years old. It was a less-than-ideal situation for the James family, as Gloria lived with her mother. But unfortunately, she passed away when James was only 19 years old.

And this led to Gloria James raising her kid all by herself. She had to make sacrifices to raise him as a single mother and had to work hard to provide him with a stable environment.

LeBron James shares a heartfelt message to his mom

LeBron Jamesā€™ mom recently posted a message showcasing her love for her son. She captioned it with a photo of the two and sheĀ said,Ā ā€œMy truest blessing. I couldnā€™t have asked God for anyone better. Love you my son.ā€Ā And JamesĀ repostedĀ his momā€™s post on his story and wrote:Ā ā€œI LOVE YOU MORE MAMA!ā€

LeBron James has made sure he has taken care of his mom and shown her love and admiration as much as possible. When James won his fourth title with theĀ Los Angeles LakersĀ in theĀ Orlando Bubble, he called his mom and thanked her for everything. She was one of the first people that he called and he had a long conversation with her.

His mom was his agent when he was in high school and she took care of him whenĀ James attracted attention from all around the country. And as he started getting older, it was his turn to take care of his mom. He has since bought her a house, and several cars for her use, and most recently he bought her a G-Wagon. And the four-time NBA champion regularly thanks his mom for making him the superstar he is today.
