Man Utd need to be careful about the 100 million euro deal

Manchester United need to watch out for the blockbuster deal they plan to detonate this summer.

After a successful first season under Erik ten Hag, Manchester United have big ambitions to continue their revival under the Dutchman in 2023/24. However, to ensure that ambition becomes a reality, they must look for a new striker.

With the exception of Marcus Rashford, who has scored 30 goals in all competitions this season, not a single Man Utd attacker has scored consistently. Anthony Martial spends more time in the treatment room and Wout Weghorst is not up to the standard required.

Muani is on the list of Man Utd strikers to recruit.

That’s why Ten Hag is aiming to add a world-class striker this summer. Harry Kane has been considered Ten Hag’s No. 1 target, but Man Utd is having a hard time convincing Tottenham Hotspur to sell the mainstay to a Premier League rival.

That’s why Ten Hag has made it their primary target to add a world-class striker during the transfer window. It is understandable that Man Utd have drawn up a list of alternative targets. The Reds closed the shortlist of six strikers to boost their attacking performance.

Among those six was Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt. The price of Muani will not be less than 100 million euros. The 24-year-old joined the Bundesliga club on a free transfer last summer after leaving Nantes.

Muani enjoyed a stellar first season in Germany, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in all competitions. 15 of his 23 goals have come in the Bundesliga, meaning only Werder Bremen’s Niclas Fullkrug and RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku have scored more goals in the competition in the 2022/23 season, with each man shooting. 16 times.

Moreover, his total of 14 assists in the Bundesliga shows that the star 𝐛ðĻðŦ𝐧 in 1998 possesses excellent creativity. It is not surprising that Man Utd as well as other clubs are watching him closely. At the age of 24, the striker is on the rise, but the big question surrounding Kolo Muani is: is he ready to become the number 1 striker in a collective like Man Utd?

The Old Trafford team need to buy a world-class striker this summer who can lead the attack. Furthermore, some supporters believe the club would also benefit from bringing in a new striker to create competition amid the potential sale of Martial this summer. Harry Kane has been considered Ten Hag’s No. 1 target, but Man Utd is having a hard time convincing Tottenham Hotspur to sell the mainstay to a Premier League rival.

The French star needs to prove that he is not a player for a season.

Muani may not be considered the main striker that the Reds need, but in the event that Man Utd completes the deal, he will wait for his opportunity. Recently when talking about his future, Muani said:

“I’m really looking for a club that will give me the opportunity to express myself, earn game time and most importantly allow me to grow.”

Muani has shown great promise in the Bundesliga this season, but his biggest challenge now is proving himself to be more than just a one-season player. That is what Man Utd may have to consider the most.
