Draymond Green Ranks the NBA’s Trash Talkers in Order

Draymond Green is considered one of the best trash-talkers in the NBA, which has helped him get under his rival’s skin more than once. The Golden State Warriors legend has engaged in big battles with other players and knows who are the best ones when it comes to trash-talking.

The four-time NBA champion was recently asked about the best trash-talkers in the league and came up with a solid list that includes him.

“Yours truly, No. 1,” Green said before admitting he wouldn’t give an order for this list. “Patrick Beverley. Still give it to KD [Kevin Durant], KD still talks a lot. Russ [Russell Westbrook] still talks. For my fifth one, I gotta go with Chris Paul.”

When he talked about what it takes to be a good trash-talker, Draymond said it’s important to have ‘facts’ and be ready to go aggressively on people.

“You gotta have facts, man,” he added. “You gotta be willing to cut deep.”

Green has been labeled as a ruthless trash-talker by other people, and he knows he’s right at the top. The big man is extremely competitive, and he will use every trick in the book to try to mess with other players.

So much so that he was suspended during the First Round of the 2023 NBA Playoff after stomping on Domantas Sabonis’ chest.

He’s willing to do whatever it takes to win, although his methods aren’t always the best or correct.

Draymond Green’s Free Agency Decision Is Still A Mystery

Meanwhile, Green is set to test the waters of free agency after declining his player option with the Warriors. The player is expected to demand $100 million in his new deal, which would be for three years.

Many teams have been linked with him, including the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings. Still, people around the league think that Green will ultimately stay with the Warriors to continue his honored career with the Dubs.
