Father allows his 3-year-old daughter to choose her own attire for the class photo.
Children are unique. Most of them already know what they want at a young age. Some 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren find it unacceptable that their parents choose their attire for school or social events. Even if that means donning mismatched clothes or outfits that are not “acceptable” for public wear.
Kaylieann Steinbach’s parents meticulously selected her attire for ‘picture day’ at school. They ensured that their little princess appeared in the photographs as a cute little princess clothed in girly colours. It was all fun and games for the parents until Kaylieann saw her father and mother’s selection. To say the least, very disappointing. This was a major no-no for the young fashionista.
She took matters into her own hands.
Why not don the clothing of the person she adores the most? The finest superheroes ever, “Pooterman” and “Pootergirl.” If you’re wondering who they are, Kaylieann calls Superman and Supergirl by these names because she has hearing loss and cannot distinguish the letter ‘S.’
She had already made her choice; it was Supergirl or nothing. Her parents were hesitant to allow her to don a costume to school, but they knew it would be enjoyable.
Obviously, they were correct. That day, their daughter was in the spotlight and demonstrated to everyone that being unique can be advantageous. She posed for her photograph while holding a Superman figurine.
When she feels like it, she does occasionally wear costume outfits to school, and her instructors and classmates are always anticipating her next choice.
After Austin uploaded Kaylieann’s photo to Reddit, the story of this very special picture day went viral. Many individuals wrote that he and his wife were exceptional parents.
Kaylieann, you are indeed your own superhero. Many individuals should follow this girl’s lead and be unafraid to reveal their genuine selves.
